Stress & Energy Support*

Vitamin C Tonic is a delicious, effervescent, orange-flavored daily drink powder that provides vitamin C in its mixed forms ascorbic acid, calcium ascorbate, and magnesium ascorbate. We also use the immune protective bioflavonoids: quercetin, rutin, and hesperidin. We sweeten it without fructose or unfavorable sweeteners.

WHY MOST VITAMIN C PRODUCTS FALL SHORT

Many companies use ascorbic acid as a standalone vitamin C product. It often lacks the bioflavonoids and other forms of vitamin C that have great bioavailability. We wanted to raise the standard of vitamin C products by using a mixed vitamin C that contains other forms of the nutrient plus the natural citrus bioflavonoids that can be used as a daily tonic drink for supporting a healthy immune system and stress response.

Benefits

Vitamin C is a cofactor in enzymatic reactions and collagen synthesis. The ascorbic acid as one version of vitamin C we use may act as an antioxidant against oxidative stress. Vitamin C provides neuroprotective effects and can be helpful for depression and issues with cortisol modulation.

Ingredients

Vitamin C

Also known as ascorbic acid, is a water-soluble vitamin naturally present in some foods and used by many as a dietary supplement. Vitamin C is an essential vitamin, which means it cannot be made in the body and must be obtained from food or through supplements. Vitamin C is a wonder nutrient, and is essential for immunity, bone maintenance, collagen formation (collagen is an essential component of connective tissue), and a broad range of other biological functions.*

Quercetin

A highly concentrated bioflavonoid found in citrus fruits, red wine, and tea. Sometimes called the ‘king of the flavonoids,’ this powerful antioxidant supports the immune system as well as a healthy inflammatory response.* Quercetin may also provide valuable support in allergies, heart disease, hypertension, and cancer.

Hesperidin

Another powerful but lesser-known bioflavonoid, can be found in oranges and grapefruits. Studies show hesperidin, combined with vitamin C, offers anti-inflammatory and vasoprotective benefits. Hesperidin deficiencies can result in abnormal capillary leakiness and pain in the extremities that creates aches, weakness, and nighttime leg cramps.

Rutin

Found in asparagus, citrus fruits, and berries such as cranberries and mulberries. It is a potent anti-inflammatory flavonoid that helps to protect blood vessels, improve circulation, and prevent blood clots.
